The finding of a natural source for treatment of Cirrhosis has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Cirrhosis is defined as a condition of irreversible scarring liver as a result of liver tissue by fibrosis due to final phase of chronic liver diseases of that can lead to poor function of the liver and liver failure.
Recent studies back by well known institutions proposed, Green Tea, Vitamin E, and  Resveratrol and Silymarin isolated from Tomato, Sweet Potato and Peanut respectively may be the next generation of natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of Cirrhosis.

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate. According to the Fudan University, intake of green tea extracts (GTE) can protect against CCl(4)-induced liver damage and cirrhosis in animal model(1).
Dr.Yin X and colleagues at the joint study lead by the Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, regular intake of green tea intake is associated to reduce risk of liver disease, including liver cirrhosis(2).
In the study of the effect of Green Tea Extract (GTE) encapsulated into Chitosan Nanoparticles (CS-NPs), researchers showed that the combination are effective in removing all the extracellular collagen caused by CCl4 in the hepatic fibrosis rat liver(3).

Hesperetin, found abundantly in Citrus fruits, including orange also expressed hepatoprotective effect
against liver fibrosis through targeting the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in diseases contribution(4). According to the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, orange flavonoid hesperetin also protected against cardiac remodelling induced by pressure overload via inhibiting cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis, oxidative stress and myocytes apoptosis(5).

Curcumin, a spice derived from Tuermic not only attenuated hepatic damage in several animal models of liver injury but also inhibited the development liver cirrhosis through its anti-inflammatory activities(6).

According to the Sección Externa de Farmacología, Cinvestav-IPN, Curcumin was effective in preventing and reversing cirrhosis, probably through reducing TGF-beta expression in regulation of proliferation, cellular differentiation, and other functions in most cells(7).
Furthermore, curcumin also exerted liver protective effect against liver damage induced chronic liver diseases, including cirrhosis(8).

Taking altogether, the combination of Orange, Turmeric and Green Tea may process the activities in reduced risk and treatment of patient with Cirrhosis

People who are at increased risk of Cirrhosis due to family history, .... should drink 1 serving daily and people with Cirrhosis should drink as much as they can, depending to digestive toleration.
Life style and diet pattern changed are recommended
